With nearly a century in combined security experience, NCSA provides security design expertise to a number of high-profile, operational and emerging infrastructure projects, including the NSF TeraGrid, the Open Science Grid, and the Ocean Observatory Initiative. We pride ourselves on our ability to work with communities to divine requirements for both usability and security, and apply our expertise to achieve the right balance of both.

MyProxy is open source software for managing X.509 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security credentials (certificates and private keys).

GSI-OpenSSH is a modified version of OpenSSH that adds support for Grid GSI (X.509) authentication and credential forwarding (delegation), providing a single sign-on remote login and file transfer service.

GridShib is project working to provide interoperability between Shibboleth and the Globus Toolkit in order to bring the ease of identity federation to Grid security.
