How it works

CCTT combines a simple, easy-to-use mechanism for capturing live data from a complainant's computer with a step-by-step triage wizard to guide first responders in collecting the best information possible for an investigation:

1. When a complaint comes in, the CCTT application can be loaded on a USB thumb drive and given to the responding patrol officer.

2. The first responder simply plugs the USB stick into the system under investigation, which launches the triage tool and walks the responder through the investigation with a series of questions. CCTT then initiates the collection of live data.

3. When the collection process is complete, the USB drive can be returned to the police department and data uploaded to a base computer for analysis.
